I know you’ve seen them and loved them. They are so cute, they take your breath away. You have to say “oh, so cute” What are they? They are a breed of dog called Pomeranian.

The Pomeranian is a double coated silky toy dog that some say has a foxy face combined with a teddy bear look. Since their beautiful silky double coated medium length hair could keep them hot in the summer, some owners get their hair shaved. Activity and the Pomeranian: Daily Exercise, Please!

Pomeranians, although small- need exercise just like any other dog. Dogs with out enough activity every day can get anxious, destructive, and develop other behavior problems. So giving your dog plenty to do, will keep you both happy! The most common mistake people make, is assuming that if they provide their dog with enough space to exercise, that they will. The Awesome Personality of the Pomeranian

When discussing lap dogs, people usually think of a quiet little dog that is content to just lounge around all day. This is not true for the spunky Pomeranian. While her favorite place is at her owner’s side, she would much rather be up and around than sedentary on the couch. Keep in mind though that small dogs can become exerted quickly and the Pomeranian must be reminded to take a break every now and then.
