I know you’ve seen them and loved them. They are so cute, they take your breath away. You have to say “oh, so cute” What are they? They are a breed of dog called Pomeranian.

The Pomeranian is a double coated silky toy dog that some say has a foxy face combined with a teddy bear look. Since their beautiful silky double coated medium length hair could keep them hot in the summer, some owners get their hair shaved. They keep the fur around the neck and with the little pointy ears, the pom then looks like a baby lion. So cute! The Pomeranian is available in many colors, such as black, black and white, tan, but the most popular color is the reddish gold.

The Pomeranian is a descendant of the Spitz, only smaller, with the same beautiful thick coat and curly tail. The Pom is a small 7-10 lb. little delight. Some are smaller and some are bigger. They are friendly, loving and just adorable. They are very active and full of energy. They are super intelligent and very willing to please their owners. They know how to show off and they know how cute they are. Poms are very loyal and protective of their owners.

This little charmer is by far one of the cutest, and anyone who has ever owned a Pom, vows to get another one.
