Before you get a Pomeranian…

Deciding to buy a Pomeranian is a big choice and shouldn’t be thought of lightly. There may be a few considerations you haven’t thought of yet so take our advice and look into the following before you become a Pom owner
Shedding: Depending on your furniture, you may not love the way Pommies shed. They’re not as bad as some shorthair breeds but the fact remains that they’ll lose hair and you may find it kind of off putting.
Home Security: You’ll want to make sure your home is secure so you won’t worry about your dog while you’re out. This means looking into things like Security Choice and possibly motion detectors and if you’re still uneasy, think about crating your Pomeranian when you’re away from home so you don’t worry too much.
Vet Bills: Pomeranians are pretty need intensive when it comes to health and care but that’s part of why we love them. Their coats need cleaning and brushing and they’ve got a variety of eye and throat issues to consider, too. They’re worth it but you may want to get pet insurance.
